Director of Partnerships
Megan leads the Solidago Foundation’s partnerships and communications department and serves on the senior leadership team. Working closely with the chief executive officer, program team, and the board of directors, she establishes targets and goals for the department in alignment with the Foundation’s mission and theory of change. She advocates for Solidago’s programs and works to establish partnerships with organizations equally committed to equality, independent power-building, and sustainability.
With a life-long passion for justice and politics, Megan began her career on Capitol Hill as an intern, eventually becoming a legislative director. While staffing members on the Appropriations, Budget, Agriculture and Small Business Committees, she developed a deep understanding that constituent groups are critical components of lasting and equitable systems change. After leaving Washington, D.C., Megan worked in development at Amherst College, directing leadership annual giving campaigns.
Originally from Portland, Oregon, a place where every shade of green exists, Megan received a bachelor’s degree from Eckerd College. She lives with her partner and three young children in Northampton, MA, where she serves on various city committees, and volunteers on political campaigns and in her kids’ schools.
